  • How FACE Works

The FACE approach
Parent-Directed Education with a Trusted Partner

FACE does not choose your curriculum or take over your role as the parent. You choose what your child learns, set the schedule, and guide daily learning. FACE provides different levels of support based on whether you choose private school enrollment or an NOI support membership.

What Families Send to FACE
Simple Reports Help Keep Records Complete

What you need to send to FACE depends on the option you choose. You can send the needed information through the FACE parent portal.

Attendance

  • Families enrolled in FACE private school submit attendance each month. This helps FACE keep each student’s records up to date and meet its legal duties as a private school.
  • NOI families do not have to submit attendance to FACE, but they are welcome to use this tool for their own records.

Curriculum Lists & Semester Report Cards

  • Families enrolled in FACE private school must submit a curriculum list through the parent portal. It is due by September 1 or within 30 days of enrollment, whichever is later.
  • K–8 families and families with Basic Enrollment use the basic curriculum list and report card. They submit grades at the end of each semester.
  • Premium high school families use the high school curriculum list and report card. These tools also track credits and GPA. Grades must be submitted at the end of each semester.
  • You can update this information at any time. FACE must have current records on file each semester to meet its legal duties as a private school.
  • NOI families do not have to submit these records to FACE, but they are welcome to use the tools for their own records.

Choose the Support That Fits Your Family

FACE offers different kinds of help based on the option you choose:

  • School records and safe document storage
  • Easy-to-use reporting tools
  • High school transcript support
  • Planning help and one-on-one meetings
  • In-person and online classes
  • Field Trips and community
  • Graduation services for students who qualify

Services are different for each enrollment or membership option.

A Colorado Private School Built for Home Educators

FACE is a licensed private school in Colorado. We serve families with many different learning goals. FACE is not accredited. This gives families more freedom to choose their curriculum and learning methods.  This does not affect the acceptance of our transcripts. If your child may transfer high schools before graduation, the new school will decide which courses and credits it will accept.
