Start With the Pathway That Fits

Every family’s homeschool plan looks a little different. Some families want their children officially enrolled in a private school. Others file a Notice of Intent and want help managing their independent homeschool program. Families with younger children may simply be looking for preschool classes and community.

FACE offers three main pathways.

Private School Enrollment

Your student is officially enrolled with FACE Private School. Parents continue to choose and teach their own curriculum while FACE provides the records and support included with their selected service level.

Private School Enrollment is available in Basic and Premium levels.

NOI Support Memberships

Your family remains legally responsible for its home-based education program and files a Notice of Intent when required. FACE provides tools, resources, or expanded support based on the membership level you choose.

NOI Support Memberships are available in Basic and Premium levels.

Preschool at FACE

Preschool families can participate in eligible FACE classes and community activities without enrolling an older student or selecting a full school-age enrollment pathway.

Basic or Premium?

Choose the Level of Support You Need

After choosing your pathway, most families select either Basic or Premium support.

Basic

Basic is designed for families who are comfortable working independently and primarily need essential administrative support, records, or templates.

Premium

Premium is designed for families who want more guidance, expanded record support, and access to FACE classes and community opportunities.  Preschool Enrollment is a special way to join this community for our tiniest little homeschoolers.

Anyone May Choose Either Option

Families are welcome to choose either FACE Private School Enrollment or a FACE NOI Membership.

  • Some families file a Notice of Intent because a public enrichment program requires it. Filing an NOI places the student under Colorado’s home-based education requirements, including the testing or evaluation requirements that apply to that pathway.
  • Families who want signed, branded school records may instead register their student as enrolled with FACE, including families who also participate in public enrichment programs when permitted by that program.
  • The right option depends primarily on the type of records your family wants and which requirements apply to the programs your student attends.

Some Families Have Additional Questions

Participating in a Public Enrichment Program?

Colorado public enrichment programs require families to file a Notice of Intent. Filing an NOI for that purpose does not mean that your family must choose an NOI Support Membership. Some students remain privately enrolled with FACE while also filing an NOI to meet an outside program’s requirements.

Planning for High School?

High school families should consider transcript support, long-term recordkeeping, graduation planning, and whether the student intends to graduate from FACE. Premium support is usually the strongest fit for families planning to remain with FACE through graduation.

Outside Colorado or the United States?

FACE serves some families who live outside Colorado, including families seeking private school records without attending local activities. Eligibility and the best enrollment option may depend on where you live and what services you need.
