Explore the science, engineering, and art behind the Disney theme parks. We will be watching a series of videos about gravity, Newton's laws of motion, magnetism, robotics, and more. Students will answer questions coverd in the videos, and will be given other assignments and projects related to each week's lesson. Videos will be presented via share screen online. Once the video seris is finished, we will use Kahn Academy's Imagineering in a Box course, which is designed to show how artists, designers and engineers work together to creae theme parks. Students will complete project-based exercises to design a theme park of their own.
Meetins/videos will be online once a week. Projects and assignments will be shared with during class time or via email.
