Improve your endurance, fitness level and speed! Each week our running group witll meet virtually briefly to discuss training plans, ask questions, and follow-up on homework assigned the week before. Then each student will be assigned specific running and conditioning assignments (designed specifically to help them reach their own personal goals) to work on for the week. There will also be segments and other fun challenges to complete throughout the semester.
Starting in October, we will have weekly "Meets" where each student will have the option to compete against their previous best time/distance. Or they can opt into a competition with friends and also compete against them.
All runs and meets will be done solely and tracked via a fitness app (withparents assitance) to guage distance and time.
All age and abilities welcome! Distances range from 1 mile to 10k"s (for those that are ready). We will focus on improving personal times, distances, and individual goals.
** 9th - 12th grade students only, maybe be eligible to earn transcript credit (half credit or 1 full credit). Please talk with Ms. Eden for details. **
